About
Living Faith is a Christian blog that interacts with a variety of biblical, theological and practical topics written by Grand Canyon University's College of Theology faculty and specially invited guests of the college. Our content provides practical and biblical advice from a Christian worldview for living our faith in the midst of an increasingly secularized world. In addition, our content wrestles with cultural topics and issues that challenge how we live out our faith as believers. For this reason, contributors to our Christian blog strive to write with compassion and apologetic concern to honor Christ and edify the church in every way possible.

John Piper at GCU This Week!

0

Grand Canyon Theological Seminary is proud to present John Piper for a special two-day event at the GCU Arena this week! John Piper is the founder and teacher of desiringGod.org. He is the chancellor of the Bethlehem College and Seminary as well as the author of several best-selling books. He will be speaking and presenting on his book “Don’t Waste Your Life” on Friday, Oct. 27 at 7 pm and his book “Reading the Bible Supernaturally” on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 9 am in the GCU Arena. For both events, doors will open about an hour in advance.

During these events, Piper will share some of his wisdom from his 33 years of teaching. Specifically, he will focus on the content of his books. Piper often explains his heart for others to desire God through the slogan, “God is most glorified in us as we are most satisfied in Him,” which he came to realize personally in his 20’s. In reflection, he has said the truth behind these words is one of his greatest personal discoveries.

Don’t miss your chance to see Piper speak live about his experiences at these uplifting events.

Get your tickets at the GCU Arena Box Office or online. To learn more about this event or College of Theology, visit our website or click on the Request More Information button on this page.
