Living Faith is a Christian blog that interacts with a variety of biblical, theological and practical topics written by Grand Canyon University's College of Theology faculty and specially invited guests of the college. Our content provides practical and biblical advice from a Christian worldview for living our faith in the midst of an increasingly secularized world. In addition, our content wrestles with cultural topics and issues that challenge how we live out our faith as believers. For this reason, contributors to our Christian blog strive to write with compassion and apologetic concern to honor Christ and edify the church in every way possible.

Last year, the Canyon Worship 2017 album was a huge hit among students at Grand Canyon University. It was a follow-up to the first Canyon Worship 2016 album and now in its third year the 2018 album is here!

Released on September 10, the worship album can be found on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Shazam and in the Lope Shop on campus. While each installment equally shows the talent within the Center for Worship Arts at Grand Canyon University, this year it holds some different styles.

Check out Kristyn Marie, a song writer and singer on the album. She is majoring in  worship arts this year and has a natural talent for what she does. Check out our interview below and get to know her!

The College of Theology at Grand Canyon University is embracing its commitment to help students gain a deeper understanding through education; this is reflected in a student named Baron Decker. Baron is currently a senior earning a Bachelor of Arts in Worship Arts with an Emphasis in Worship Ministry. At this time, his pursuits have led him to an opportunity with a local congregation to serve as their tech manager, but Baron has more plans and passions for his future!

Clint Harper, a former College of Theology student at GCU, who majored in Christian Studies with an emphasis in biblical studies, shares his experiences regarding his pursuit of ministry and its role in developing “A Deeper Understanding,” as well as his pursuits as an apprentice with AT3 at City Church Manchester, in the Union School of Theology.

Katie Brown is a truly outstanding artist. She is full of both boldness and humility, and she is utilizing her passions and talents for God’s glory in GCU’s worship arts program. She recently released her first extended play (EP), “On My Knees,” with six original tracks that are now available on Spotify, iTunes and Google Play. In a recent interview, Katie looks back at the creation of her EP and reflects on how her time at GCU has grown her to where, and who, she is today.

Meg Hayes is a current student at Grand Canyon University, pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies with an Emphasis in Youth Ministry. After graduation, she hopes to minister towards young children within a non-profit organization. During her time at GCU she has ministered to young adult women in her dorm and around the GCU campus as a Head Life Leader. It is her hope to work for a non-profit such as Make-A-Wish or Orchard Africa.
