Grand Canyon University’s College of Education offers education degrees that help you grow in your passion to educate others and change the lives of future generations. Our philosophy is grounded in learning, leading and serving. So, why should you choose the College of Education to earn your degree? Here are just a few reasons:

The College of Education Promise

The College of Education stands by the excellence of our education degree programs, in both teaching and administration. After earning your education degree in one of these programs, if you are struggling during your first year, we promise to provide assistance to you, at no expense.

Variety of Degree Options

GCU has a wide variety of education degree programs, including elementary education, secondary education, early childhood education and special education. Many education degree programs in the College of Education lead to initial licensure. Additionally, you are given opportunities during your program to participate in practicum and field experiences, allowing you to acquire helpful, firsthand knowledge of what it is like to teach in a classroom setting.

Educational Resources

Whether you choose to pursue your education degree in a traditional classroom setting or as an online education degree, there are a multitude of helpful educational resources available to help you on your educational journey, including the Office of Clinical Practice, the Teaching Certification and Credential Center and Lopes Leap to Teach. We also offer assistance with fingerprinting, mentor opportunities and finding field experience and internship opportunities.

Full-Time Faculty

College of Education faculty are passionate about the field of education. Small class sizes allow instructors to develop personal academic relationships with their students. This provides you with an opportunity to gain one-on-one experience with professional educators in your field of study and gain knowledge in your subject area.
