Donate to the College of Education Book Drive!

Grand Canyon University’s College of Education is partnering with the of Soroptimist International Canyon Corridor chapter to host a book drive! Anyone can stop by to drop off new and used books to support the Franklin Police and Fire High School. This book drive will provide the gift of reading.

This community event is taking place from Aug. 21 – 24. Those willing to support our efforts can stop by one of several locations across GCU’s main campus in Phoenix to donate any new or gently used children’s, young adult and appropriate adult books. During the same timeframe, you can stop by the GCU Hotel lobby to visit the Scholastic Book Fair to buy new books for yourself or a loved one.

The locations for the book drive around campus are as follows:

  • Building 71 lobby/breakrooms
  • Building 66 lobby
  • Building 23 lobby
  • COE administrative office (building 57, room 330-2)
  • GCU Hotel lobby

The College of Education’s goal is to allow students to grow through learning, leading and serving. Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization, aiming to improve the lives of girls and women through programs of social and economic empowerment. The Soroptimist International Canyon Corridor chapter is proud to help our college sponsor the book drive.

If you’re able, donate your new and used books to this great cause! We appreciate your support!
