From live music to brunch, there is something for everyone here at the GCU Hotel! There are a number of events and activities coming up for you to enjoy!

Live Music Thursdays

Come to Canyon 49 on Thursday nights from 8 – 10 pm to enjoy live music and amazing deals on food and drinks! This event will be held every Thursday and the staff hopes to see you there! For more information, check out the Canyon 49 Grill website!

Sunday Brunch at Canyon 49 Grill

For only $12, eat brunch at Canyon 49! Come on down, Sundays from 10 am – 2 pm and enjoy a brunch buffet featuring omelets, waffles, southwest breakfast items and even a chocolate fountain! Spring in the Desert at Canyon 49 Grill

Come to the daily backyard BBQ from 11 am – 1 pm at Canyon 49! Located on the Sunset Patio, come take a bite out of hot dogs, burgers and chicken sandwiches! All items are available for both dine-in and take-out!

Bite and Tour

If you are interested in checking out the new Jerry Colangelo Museum, come take a tour Tuesdays from 3 – 4 pm and get round trip shuttle service to Canyon 49 for incredible happy hour specials!

Wine Tastings

When you need to unWINE, Canyon 49 has you covered! Check out the weekly wine tasting every Wednesday from 4 – 5 pm. You must be 21 or older to participate!

Free Cooking Classes

Do you love to cook? Check out Canyon 49’s complimentary chef demos with a talented culinary team! This program is offered every Thursday from 11 – 11:30 am. Plus, the first Thursday of each month is focused on healthy meals and on these weeks, meetings will be held at Canyon Cantina in building 66. This is a must-see event!

Allison Richmond is an Arizona native and a junior at Grand Canyon University.
