Special Rate for Active Duty and Spouses

Did you know? GCU offers a special military rate per credit hour to all active duty and reserve military, National Guard members and their spouses. In addition, some fees are waived for qualified students who use military tuition assistance as their primary payment method. Therefore, military members can save money as they work toward their college degree at GCU.

Military Scholarships

GCU also offers special scholarships to veterans and their spouses, and employees of the Department of Defense, Department of Public Health Services or National Oceanic Atmospheric Association (NOAA). These scholarships can be used for undergraduate, graduate or even doctoral programs. Military dependents may also qualify for these scholarships, and they can seek more information by reaching out to their university counselor.

Tuition Assistance

Finally, Military Tuition Assistance is a benefit paid to eligible members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard. GCU’s highly qualified military enrollment advisors are equipped to help you navigate the TA process and inform you of available benefits. Your military university counselor will be a great resource as you navigate your journey at GCU!

Transfer-Friendly Programs

In addition to being a military university, GCU is transfer-friendly. Your military university counselor can help you obtain copies of your transcripts from previous institutions and also work with you to see how your military experience can transfer into one of our degree programs. By transferring credits, you can graduate even sooner with your degree. Our goal is to make the transition to GCU as easy as possible!
