Business Management Major, Colangelo College of Business

Are you interested in earning a degree in golf management? Golf is a huge industry in Arizona, and there are several schools in the area that offer golf-related programs and degrees! Here is a quick overview of the Golf Academy of America’s program and Grand Canyon University’s business management with an emphasis in golf management degree:

Golf Academy of America

The Golf Academy of America offers an associate degree in golf management. This degree is a two-year program and offers different specializations within the golf world, which prepares and equips students to network, build their resumes and market themselves to golf agencies and professionals. Students in the program can benefit from practice range privileges, tournaments, instruction from PGA professionals and more.

GCU’s BS of Business Management with an Emphasis in Golf Management

At Grand Canyon University, students in the golf management program earn their Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an Emphasis in Golf Management. While this is traditionally a four-year program, students have an opportunity to advance through the program faster, if they choose. This program offers eight core classes that are instructed by PGA professionals. Students also take courses taught by industry leaders in the Colangelo College of Business. Because the degree is in business management with an emphasis in golf management, students may have career opportunities in other business industries.

In addition to an amazing classroom education, GCU golf management students also have the opportunity to participate in golf tournaments each month at the GCU Golf Course! Students have employment opportunities at the golf course, which allows students to gain an in-depth understanding, as well as a first-hand experience, within golf industry.

Grand Canyon University and the Colangelo College of Business are committed to the success of students. To get more information about business degrees at GCU, visit our website or click the green Request More Information button at the top of the page.
