Applying to GCU

The fall semester may have just begun, but it is not too early for your high school senior to start thinking about college. Grand Canyon University offers Early Decision Grants for students who decide to register early. That means now is the perfect time to schedule a tour and apply to GCU!

If your student is interested in applying for admission to GCU, we’ve made the process simple. Start by requesting information from an admissions representative. Your student may even have a GCU admissions representative on his or her high school campus! When your student is ready, applying to GCU is free! Our straightforward process makes it easy for your student to apply to be a part of the Herd. We require a 3.0 cumulative, unweighted GPA. If your student does not meet the GPA requirement, he or she may still be eligible for admission with an ACT score of 19 or an SAT score of 920. Our website offers more information about admissions requirements.

Next, schedule a tour of our rapidly expanding campus. Consider attending Discover GCU, a free program that lets students experience student life firsthand. While he or she is learning about life as a ‘Lope, you can attend a parent information session and take a walking tour.

Finally, your student needs to submit transcripts and test scores. Official transcripts may be mailed or faxed directly to the university or carried by hand by the applicant. If your student is planning to attend the main campus, consider having ACT or SAT scores sent directly to GCU.
